About Me
Stephanie R. Brown (pronouns she/her), a licensed clinical psychologist based in California, earned her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree from Alliant International University.
Her training experience encompassed aiding Veterans facing homelessness and substance use disorders at Veterans Village of San Diego, as well as working at an inpatient psychiatric unit at Bayview Hospital.
Dr. Brown completed an APA-accredited internship at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), where she assumed a pivotal role as the clinical coordinator of the Eating Disorder Team, and honed her proficiency in a variety of evidence-based treatments, including PTSD and Eating Disorders.
In Dr. Brown's professional journey, she began working with the Naval Center for Combat & Operational Stress Control (NCCOSC), where she merged her roles as a researcher and clinical psychologist to help contribute to the well-being of Active Duty Service members. Her responsibilities extended to building resilience curricula designed to increase mental toughness and improve the performance of Service members and their families.
Dr. Brown’s diverse experience allows her to extend a compassionate approach to those facing mental health challenges, offer support and personalized training to groups looking to prevent or recover from burnout, and provide coaching and empowerment to individuals seeking heightened performance and resilience.
